Our application is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not require you to create an account, nor do we collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your real name, address, or phone number to operate the core features of the app.

• Internet Permisson (android.permission.INTERNET)

Information stored locally on your device:

• Language Preferences: Your selected native language and learning (target) language.
• Learning Progress: Your vocabulary lists, XP, current level, daily streaks, and study sessions.
• Profile Settings: Custom display names or emails you may optionally input into the Profile screen (these are stored locally and are not transmitted to us).

This data is saved locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences to ensure you can resume your progress seamlessly.

2. How We Use Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Our app utilizes Google's Generative AI (Gemini) to create customized vocabulary lists, translations, phonetics, and example sentences tailored to your learning level.

• When you request a new vocabulary list (e.g., clicking "Continue" on the Level Selection screen), we send a prompt to the AI service containing your selected native language, target language, and difficulty level.
• We do not send your personal profile data, learning history, or any identifiable information to the AI service.
• The data transmitted is strictly limited to the parameters required to generate educational content.

3. Third-Party Services

We use Google Generative AI APIs to provide the app's core vocabulary generation features. You can learn more about how Google handles data by reviewing the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Security & Storage

Because your learning progress and profile information are stored locally on your device, you are in control of your data.

• No Cloud Syncing: We do not currently store your vocabulary or progress on external servers.
• Data Deletion: You can delete all your data at any time by clearing the app's data in your Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.
• Resetting Progress: You can reset your onboarding program directly from the Profile screen.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new features (such as cloud syncing or new AI integrations). We advise you to review this page periodically for any changes.
